Successful spin-off from Buffy
the Vampire Slayer. Angel (David Boreanaz) is not your everyday
vampire. Cursed by a gypsy in the past, he gained a soul and with
it a conscience. The character develops considerably through this
series as he sometimes fights evil, but always tries to deal with
being in love with a Slayer and not being with her.
