Buffy seems like an ordinary kid at school. She is not. She is a Slayer and has been chosen to save the world from all the terrible things you daren't dream about. She gets in fights with creatures, vampires, demons and assorted nasties and kicks their butts! The phenomenon of Buffyness (and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar) continues to entrance the world. But it doesn't stop there. She gets romantically entwined with a Vampire with the unlikely name of "Angel" (David Boreanaz). The character becomes so popular that his story spins off into the Angel series, (though the two series remain entwined). Not content with that, a cartoon series is now being made, that will take us back to an earlier Buffy. And we have heard that her mentor, Rupert Giles, the Watcher, (Anthony Head) may also get his own spin-off series, made in England by the BBC. Sarah Michelle Gellar will be finishing in Buffy in May 2003, but that doesn't necessarily mean an end to Buffy.
