The original Star Trek series was over, but was getting popular
support in reruns. But they didn't have enough confidence to bring
out a whole new Star Trek series as it was, so they did an animated
version. It is okay, but it doesn't compare well to the live action
series. Still, if it happens to be on, have a look - it is sometimes
quite alright.
